Just a quick success story: my former spouse (who is still like a sibling to me) was diagnosed with metastasized melanoma lymphoma over ten years ago. At the time, we were told survival rate was a stretch at three years. Immunotherapy changed that!

Thanks so much Francis. Warning: some episodes of Bluey will probably bring you to tears. But in the best way.

Very interesting.

I’ve read and listened to interviews with clinical physicians who use ketosis in their patients to help protect the normal cells. Apparently, if the patient is fat adapted and able to stay low carb, cancer treatments are able to better target the miscreant cells and the ones they want to keep are a little safer.

There’s clearly still so much to learn about nutrition - the same with the role of ketogenic diet in treatment of mental health. Always something interesting going on, that’s for sure!

Clever riff on Copycat - I loved that film! And like you I don’t have the stomach for true crime for the reasons you mentioned. When I was a teenager I really wanted to be a profiler for the FBI until I saw Silence of the Lambs. At first it scared me, then it depressed me knowing people like that are really out there. Also, interesting info on cancer drugs!

Thanks Colette. Jury duty also confirmed that anything to do with legal justice is not for me- and I didn’t even get assigned to any trials! Thanks for reading and commenting, I really appreciate it.
